Evocation is a new single released on November 13th 2019. It is a beautiful piece with a wistful character.
Composed around the same time as Dreams, it could be heard as the slightly more melancholic ‘other half’ to Dreams

Dreams was released a couple of months earlier on September 12th 2019. A beautiful melodic piece with slightly romantic overtones, it is very immediate in its appeal and has featured on many playlists, including the very popular “Sleeping Forecast” on BBC Sounds.

Piano Reflections is the second of Chris’s solo piano albums, comprising 12 haunting tracks.

'I must have played it about 8 times on a recent drive home. Utterly beautiful. I was quite emotional at times. Your writing (and playing) shows a maturity that really should have you up there with the best of them. ‘Ripples’ is just superb.'

Released in 2017, Piano Reflections has a slightly more ‘immediate’ feel than its predecessor, Piano Meditations.  The melodies in particular are more instantly memorable and easier to recall. 

One track, ‘Calling’ has been a heavily-featured daytime listen on UK radio station Chill and has seen a lot of plays on online platforms as a result. Other tracks, notably ‘Pensive’, ‘Resting’ & ‘Musing’ are also played on radio stations around the UK from time to time.

Piano Meditations is the first of Chris’s solo piano albums and his fifth solo album in total. Released in 2016, it marks a different chapter in Chris’s musical development.

Overwhelmingly ‘chilled’ in character, some of the 12 tracks are overtly meditative, some are slightly darker in tone, whilst yet others are relaxing to the extent that listeners have reported the tracks have helped them with their insomnia and even, in the car, with road rage!

4 tracks, 'Awakening’, ‘Darkening’ ‘Droplets’ and  ‘Moonlight’ were quickly picked up by UK radio station Chill and continue to feature as part of their overnight playlists.
